Senior Men and U21 squads announced

With season 2012 just around the corner, the senior playing group were presented with their jumpers at the Veneto Club on Friday night.
The Lions welcomed inaugural Melbourne Heart National Youth League captain Dusan Bosjak and fellow Heart NYL teammate Daniel Peluso back to the pride following their secondment to the A-League’s newest club over the summer.
Two ex-Victory youth goalkeepers in Alistair Bray (who returns from a lengthy injury last season) and returning Bulleen junior prodigy Keegan Coulter feature in the squad, ensuring the Lions are in safe hands this season.
With several players promoted from the invincible U21 team of 2011, many new recruits joining the pride, and on the back of promising pre-season results, the Lions are full of confidence heading into the season – due to kickoff at home next Monday vs Pascoe Vale.
